Hello, my name is Monique Harris. I am a graphic artist with an AA degree in Business. I am also the sole owner of both Communication at Ease and Monique’s Magnets. Six years ago, I started Communication at Ease in order to assist individuals with speech impairments and other communication difficulties to more successfully interact with the world around them. My own challenges with cerebral palsy and communication hurdles have given me a lifetime of insight and experience. I have developed a line of quality, user friendly, low- tech communication boards and educational materials.

As well as creating art, I write poetry. My poetry is often born out of a sense of frustration with the world around me. Some poems tackle the topic of disability that describes an ideal world where people see others and not just disabilities.
